Job Title: Assistant (Entry Level)
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Assistant. This position will involve a diverse range of tasks, including handling donations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing support in various administrative and marketing activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing our outreach efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Donation Management:
- Receive, document, and organize incoming donations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure proper sorting and storage of donated items.
- Maintain accurate records of donations for reporting purposes.
- Merchandising:
- Create visually appealing displays for merchandise donations.
- Keep the merchandise area organized and attractive to encourage donations.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold a professional and welcoming environment.
- Assist with setting up for and cleaning up after events.
- Marketing Assistance:
- Support marketing efforts by creating eye-catching event graphics.
- Set up and manage events on various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, KLove, Midland Chamber of Commerce, and Eventbrite.
- Social Media Management:
- Schedule and post engaging content on social media platforms.
- Foster community engagement by participating in discussions and responding to comments.
- Assist in maintaining a consistent online presence.
- Email Correspondence and CRM Management:
- Respond promptly to emails and inquiries, maintaining a professional and friendly tone.
- Keep the CRM system updated with accurate information.
- Administrative Support:
- Schedule meetings for the President, ensuring efficient use of time.
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
Hours:
Wednesday & Friday from 9am to 3pm
