Job Title: Assistant (Entry Level)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Assistant. This position will involve a diverse range of tasks, including handling donations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing support in various administrative and marketing activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and enhancing our outreach efforts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Donation Management:
    • Receive, document, and organize incoming donations.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper sorting and storage of donated items.
    • Maintain accurate records of donations for reporting purposes.
  2. Merchandising:
    • Create visually appealing displays for merchandise donations.
    • Keep the merchandise area organized and attractive to encourage donations.
  3. Facility Maintenance:
    • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold a professional and welcoming environment.
    • Assist with setting up for and cleaning up after events.
  4. Marketing Assistance:
    • Support marketing efforts by creating eye-catching event graphics.
    • Set up and manage events on various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, KLove, Midland Chamber of Commerce, and Eventbrite.
  5. Social Media Management:
    • Schedule and post engaging content on social media platforms.
    • Foster community engagement by participating in discussions and responding to comments.
    • Assist in maintaining a consistent online presence.
  6. Email Correspondence and CRM Management:
    • Respond promptly to emails and inquiries, maintaining a professional and friendly tone.
    • Keep the CRM system updated with accurate information.
  7. Administrative Support:
    • Schedule meetings for the President, ensuring efficient use of time.
    • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.

Hours:

Wednesday & Friday from 9am to 3pm
